Timing Retard Eliminator (TRE)

Power Boost (Timing Retard Eliminator-TRE) is an electronic module designed for Suzuki motorcycles that removes the factory-imposed ignition timing retard in lower gears. Suzuki’s ECU often uses separate ignition maps per gear (and intentionally retards timing in lower gears for safety/emissions/traction reasons). The TRE fools the ECU into thinking the bike is in a higher gear so the ECU applies the less-retarded map across all gears.
