E-GP-Air Wireless Airbag System
The e-GP Air has been specially developed for the pilots. This electronic wireless model provides an ultra fast fall detection and an excellent protection of the vital parts.
The e-GP Air airbag integrates the Helite electronic system. Easy to use, simply press the button three times to switch the system on or off.
Airbag Protection
The airbag shape integrated in the vest absorbs impacts and stabilizes the whole upper body from head to tailbone. Front and back body armours for a double TURTLE effect! The results of absorption and distribution of shocks are considerably higher and it protects from intruding objects
Airbag System
The CDU sensor integrated in the vest follows and analyzes the motorcyclist's motion in context. In the event of a fall, it automatically triggers the airbag before impact.
Abrasion Resistant Materials
Very strong abrasion resistance with leather (cowhide 1,2 mm) + foam to protect the airbag chamber. If damaged, the leather sliders on the back can be easily replaced thanks to the velcro.
Attention has been focused on aerodynamics with a space for the suit’s hump.
Tight body fit with stretchy leather sides. We use a stretchy material on the neck/shoulders to have an optimal protection when the airbag inflates.
Customization
You can customize your vest with a quick access to the front and back. Another possibility, the German store Rabatz Racing produces customized leather patches.
Adjustment
Adjustment velcro and stretchy material to fit the E-GP-Air nicely over any suits. We use a red velcro to show the limit to close the E-GP-Air airbag vest.
CO2 Cartridge
The size of the CO2 canister is proportional to the size of the airbag. The canister is the only component that needs to be replaced after inflation of your air vest.
An additional protective PVC Plate and foam is placed behind the canister so that it cannot injure the rider.
The e-cartridge deploys the airbag in the event of a fall. It is easily and quickly installed and replaced by the pilot.
Fitting Instructions
The E-GP-Air Airbag Vest should fit exactly the same as any other Helite Airbag as the product is designed to expand outwards on activation. You may consider upsizing this product by one size as we find the French sizing to come up a little smaller than we are used to here in Australia. The jacket can be adjusted accordingly using the various velcro straps.
